A benefit for PRC and Rise Against Hunger

You are cordially invited to the PRC’s Plein-Aire Art and Environmental Fair on Saturday, May 5th, from 11:00 – 4:00PM on the grounds of the Historic 1750 Pennsylvania Resources Council Building, 3606 Providence Road, Newtown Square.


Come be surrounded by color!  Dozens of original paintings have been donated by over 50 generous local artists. Why? They believe in helping feed hungry school children –  and supporting the environment!

Visit this 1750 country estate in Ridley Creek State Park, enjoy some light refreshments and browse art, books and tour building in a fun and friendly atmosphere, stroll the grounds viewing artists at work and fun activities.

This donated art work is priced lower than their appraised value – tremendous deals!   Take home an original piece of art that is affordable. Also, browse through the books.

50% of this art sale will go to the Pennsylvania Resources Council, which supports environmental education programs and events.  And 50% of this art sale will go to Newtown Square Presbyterian Church’s Rise Against Hunger event.  Over 20,500 meals were packed for hungry school children in March.

Whether you prefer an acrylic still life, a watercolor landscape, or an abstract in oil, you will find a well-priced piece for your home or office.  The early bird gets the worm, so come to the Pennsylvania Resource Council at 11AM for the best selection!  Here are just a few pieces that will be available:

Over 50 generous, gifted artists have stepped forward to donate an amazing selection of original paintings.  Many of them are members of local artist groups, like the Delaware Valley Art League, the Wayne Art Center, the Artist’s Circle, ARTsisters, and Flying Colors.
