New Faces at PRC

Posted by: Mary Kate Ranii on April 3, 2017

PRC is excited to move into another busy season of specialty recycling collection events, in-school and adult workshops, farmers markets, and zero waste events! To make an even bigger impact in 2017, PRC invited two new faces to join the team in our Western Office!

PRC would like to officially welcome Omoye Aikhuele and Dakota Campbell!

Omoye joins the team as PRC’s newest Environmental Analyst, leading the recycling hotline and developing data resources for promotion and reporting of our many environmental programs. After graduating from Georgia State University in Atlanta with a B.S. In Geology, Omoye moved to Pittsburgh and proceeded to work in the development of Pennsylvania and Ohio energy resources. After working with the East End Food Co-op and participating in initiatives to reduce food waste, she was attracted to PRC’s mission to reduce waste in all areas of life. Residing in Stanton Heights, Omoye can be found practicing or performing Seva at 1.1 Yoga, gardening, hiking or attempting to build her first Aeroponics growing system.

Dakota joins the PRC team as a Zero Waste Specialist. Dakota has lived in Pittsburgh for the last several years and has a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. Dakota’s passion for the environment keeps him outdoors as he enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, gardening, and biota identification. When he’s not outside he enjoys touring local breweries and playing with his chameleons.

Welcome Omoye and Dakota!
