This fall, PRC and Allegheny CleanWays will empower Allegheny County residents with the skills needed to tackle “stuff” with a goal of saving money, reducing waste. and creating healthier, cleaner communities.
Learn about repair/reuse, recycling, food waste, litter clean-ups and local organizations at six weekly workshops.
Beginning October 1, Eco Scouts of all ages will immerse themselves in the world of stuff: why we have so much of it, how it gets made, and how it gets remade. This program is for inquisitive and enthusiastic adults and teenagers who want to support each other and make deeper community connections. Each workshop will focus on a different topic and will offer participating Eco Scouts the skills and tools needed to make change in their own circles.
Join Eco Scouts and discover how small actions can create big changes for your neighborhood, your family, and the environment.
Beginning October 1, workshop sessions will take place weekly on Thursday evenings from 6 – 7:30 pm at Mission: Agape, 120 Prescott Street, McKeesport, PA 15131.
Register for all sessions or individually.
