Traveling Glass Recycling Bin in White Oak Park, August 1 – 27, 2026

Throughout 2026, PRC’s Traveling Glass Recycling Bin — a temporary, rotating self-serve collection service — visits seven Allegheny County Parks, offering individuals an opportunity to drop off glass bottles, jars and jugs of all colors from 7 am to 7 pm daily during four-week engagements.

> Recycle glass bottles, jars and jugs of all colors.
> No color sorting is required.
> Containers should be empty and rinsed (lids and labels on).
> Bags and boxes used to delivered glass must be discarded off-site.

These collection sites in Allegheny County are made possible through a partnership with the county’s Parks Department and its Sustainability Office.
