PRC’s Traveling Glass Recycling Bin Program – which serves residents living in municipalities no longer accepting glass in curbside recycling collection – will make several stops in western Pennsylvania in January.

PRC Traveling Glass Recycling Bin’s weeklong engagements in January 2021:

January 16 – 21 @ FINDLAY TOWNSHIP PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE (Allegheny County)

1058 Clinton Road, Clinton, PA 15026

Hosted by Findlay Township

January 30 – February 4 @ HAMPTON COMMUNITY SWIMMING POOL (Allegheny County)

3101 McCully Rd., Allison Park, PA 15101

Hosted by Hampton Township and State Rep. Lori Mizgorski

“The bin visits various locations on a weekly basis from Saturday through Thursday, typically from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and provides residents with a safe method for recycling glass while eliminating the need to interact with other individuals or touch shared surfaces,” according to PRC Recycling Markets Program Manager Ashley DiGregorio.

Individuals can drop off glass bottles, jars and jugs of all colors (no color sorting required).  Containers should be empty and rinsed, with lids and labels still on.  Bags and boxes used to deliver glass must be discarded off-site.

PRC’s Traveling Glass Recycling Bin Program is sponsored by Owens-Illinois, Inc. and CAP Glass. For more information, visit or call 412-488-7490.
