In July, PRC will conduct environmental education webinars to teach southwestern PA residents methods for protecting watersheds including using rain barrels and options for recycling a wide variety of materials. Following online instruction, individuals will pick up their rain barrels at PRC’s office in Pittsburgh.
PRC will conduct three in-person workshops in Allegheny County in July. A Watershed Awareness & Rain Barrel workshop will take place in South Park on July 6. Backyard Composting Workshops will take place in Point Breeze/Pittsburgh on July 23 and Sewickley on July 28. Participants will take home rain barrels and compost bins at the conclusion of these workshops.
