In June, PRC will conduct environmental education webinars to teach southwestern PA residents principles of backyard composting and options for recycling a wide variety of materials. Following online instruction, individuals will pick up their compost bins at PRC’s office in Pittsburgh.
PRC will conduct three in-person workshops in June. Watershed Awareness & Rain Barrel workshops will take place in Sewickley (Allegheny County) on June 2 and Green Tree (Allegheny County) on June 15. A Backyard Composting Workshop will take place in McDonald (Washington County) on June 22. Participants will take home rain barrels and compost bins at the conclusion of these workshops.
