The PRC online workshop schedule for May includes a free online Recycling & Waste Reduction webinar on May 13 for individuals living throughout the Commonwealth.
Individuals living in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and surrounding areas can take part in a Backyard Composting webinar on May 4 or May 19 and then pick up a compost bin at a regional PRC office.
Individuals living in the greater Pittsburgh area can register for a Watershed Awareness/Rain Barrel webinar taking place on May 11 or May 26.
Participants in the Backyard Composting and Watershed Awareness/Rain Barrel webinars will receive compost bins and rain barrels following the webinars. Those living in the greater Philadelphia area will pick up compost bins at Rose Tree Park in Media, Pa., while those living in the greater Pittsburgh area will pick up their compost bins or rain barrels at PRC’s office located on the North Side.

PRC will offer a free “Recycling & Waste Reduction” webinar on Thursday, May 13, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. The online workshop will answer common questions surrounding recycling issues such as curbside collection, hard-to-recycle materials and pharmaceutical disposal.
