The Pennsylvania Resources Council has launched a RECYCLED PAPER COOPERATIVE to make 100% recycled paper more affordable by purchasing large volumes of office paper directly from a western Pennsylvania paper mill passing the savings on to coop members.
PRC is dedicated to keeping PA office paper 100% recycled, 100% local by making it affordable and convenient,” according to PRC Managing Director Justin Stockdale. “Taking part in the Paper Coop is literally as easy as 1, 2, 3: place your order online, receive delivery instructions via email and then pick up your paper supply.”
By purchasing 100% recycled content paper through the coop, members can save more than $10 per case compared to average market prices.
“The average mid-size office consumes one ton of paper per year, about 40 cartons. By joining PRC’s coop, small to medium size businesses and nonprofits will have an opportunity to purchase 100% recycled content paper at an extremely competitive price,” said Stockdale. “Each ton of 100% recycled content paper purchased from the coop will preserve 24 trees, conserve 7,000 gallons of water, support local jobs and much more.”
COVID-19 ORDER UPDATE:
Paper orders can be placed through the Recycled Paper Cooperative store until further notice. PRC will make paper orders available for pick-up within 3 to 4 weeks after normal business operations are deemed allowable by the Governor’s Office. Members will be notified via email of any and all updates regarding distribution of paper orders directly.
