Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) is led by a volunteer Board of Directors who represent a diverse group of industries, geographies, and personal interests. Board members guide the work of PRC and ensure the organization continues to protect the resources of Pennsylvania for future generations.
PRC welcomes three members who begin serving three-year terms in January 2023:
Zoraida Cordero, Area Director, AFSP Greater Philadelphia Chapter
Molly Lanzel, Human Resources Manager, Custom Industrial Processing
Brandon Stiff, Associate Director, Quality, Merck & Co., Inc.

ZORAIDA CORDERA
Area Director, AFSP Greater Philadelphia Chapter
Ms. Cordero serves as Adjunct Professor of Civic Engagement at Drexel University and is founder and CEO of Impactful Solutions. At American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), she serves as Area Director of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter, a voluntary health organization that provides education and awareness programs to schools and organizations in addition to supporting those touched by the tragedy of suicide.
The New York City native received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Muhlenberg College and a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a focus on Macro Practices and Human Services Management from Temple University. She is an Army Veteran of 10 years and a past Community Engagement Chair of a U.S. Army Reserve National Task Force.
As a dedicated Latina Social Impact Leader, Ms. Cordero volunteers and remains civically engaged by supporting many local organizations and investing her time and knowledge to help the success of local coalitions and boards including Children First’s Young Professional Advisory Council and New Leaders Council Philadelphia. Ms. Cordero resides in Philadelphia with her fiancé and two German Shepherds.
MOLLY LANZEL
Human Resources Manager, Custom Industrial Processing
Ms. Lanzel oversees recruiting, staffing, employee safety, conflict resolution, training and all facets of human resources administration at Custom Industrial Processing, Inc. (CIP). The Elk County-based corporation specializes in providing precision high volume CNC machining services.
Prior to joining CIP, Ms. Lanzel’s career in the food industry included supervisory and management roles.
The Rutherford, N.J., native received a Bachelor of Science in Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management from The Art Institute of Philadelphia. BRANDON STIFF
Associate Director, Quality, Merck & Co., Inc.
At Merck, Mr. Stiff provides quality support for facility microbial control and pharmaceutical water and has experience in single use technology application. He has championed Diversity & Inclusion efforts in leadership roles such as department diversity, equity, and inclusion team leader.
He currently serves as member of the Board of Directors for nonprofit Penn’s Village and serves as Treasurer Elect in the Philadelphia Professional Chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers. He also holds membership in the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE).
The Elkins Park, Pa., resident received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Howard University and received a Master of Engineering Management from Wichita State University.
