“HARD-TO-RECYCLE” COLLECTION AT SETTLERS CABIN PARK
Collection to accept e-waste, cell phones, tires and more
The Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) will host a HARD-TO-RECYCLE collection on Saturday, October 5, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Settlers Cabin Park in Robinson Township to enable area residents to conveniently dispose of numerous items not suitable for curbside recycling. Participants will pay a fee to dispose of some materials (such as televisions and tires) while other items (such as cell phones and CFL bulbs) will be accepted for free.
Individuals can dispose of cell/home phones, CFL bulbs, computer towers and peripheral equipment (keyboards, laptops, mice, UPS/servers, Zip drives, etc.), expanded polystyrene packaging material, microwave ovens, stereo equipment and video game consoles/DVD players at no cost.
Participants will pay a fee to drop off televisions, computer monitors, printers, alkaline batteries, CDs/DVDs/VHS/floppy discs, fluorescent tubes, small Freon appliances, stereo speakers and tires (with and without rims).

Please note: ONLY HARD-TO-RECYCLE MATERIALS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THIS EVENT
(NO household chemicals, paint, pesticides, etc. will be accepted on October 5).
The Settlers Cabin event is the last of six hard-to-recycle collections PRC will host in 2019.
